Our Team

Maya is a fourth-year medical student at the University of British Columbia, where she is pursuing her passion for primary care and preventive medicine. Having grown up in rural BC, she brings a grounded, community-minded perspective to her work in health care.

Maya believes medicine shouldn't stop at treating illness — it should work just as hard to prevent it. That belief is what drew her to The Prevention Playbook, where she helps translate evidence-based approaches to health management and disease prevention into practical guidance that we can all use.
